Our enquiry form asks for your name, email address, enquiry topic and the trip details needed to respond. These may include dates, group size, company, sport, bedroom requirements and requested services. The form also includes an enquiry reference and the page where the enquiry was opened. For reservations, we process the booker’s and guests’ contact details, booking details, agreed services, payment status and necessary correspondence. We also collect the traveller information required by law. Technical service providers process connection and security information, such as IP addresses and logs.
We handle quotations and reservations to take steps at your request before a contract and to perform a contract. Traveller records and accounting documents are processed to meet legal obligations. Business contact details, other customer-service correspondence and security logs are processed based on our legitimate interests in providing services, responding to enquiries and preventing misuse. Where we request consent for separate marketing or optional tracking, you may withdraw it. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter.
Information comes from you, someone booking on your behalf, your employer, a group organiser or the booking service you use. Tilda provides our website and enquiry forms; enquiries are delivered to our guest-service team. We use Cloudbeds for reservations and guest services. Email, payment, accounting and IT providers, and providers of separately agreed services, may process the information needed for their role. Information is disclosed to authorities where required by law. Do not send payment-card details through the enquiry form.
Our international service providers may process information outside the EU and EEA, including in the United States. Cloudbeds’ data-processing terms describe its international transfer safeguards, including applicable EU standard contractual clauses. Provider information is linked at the end of this notice. You may ask us for details of the recipients and transfer safeguards relevant to your case.
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle the request, deliver an agreed service and address related claims. Retention of reservation and customer records depends on the contract, outstanding payments, complaints and legal obligations. Statutory traveller information is retained for one year from registration and then destroyed from that register. Accounting documents are kept for the period required by Finnish accounting law. When retention is no longer necessary, information is deleted or anonymised. Contact us to ask about retention of your enquiry.
You may request access, correction and, where applicable, erasure, restriction or portability of your information. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and always object to direct marketing. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. Legal retention obligations may prevent immediate deletion of some records. Send requests to info@saimaa-life.com; we may need to verify your identity. You may lodge a complaint with the Finnish Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).

Online bookings are made through Cloudbeds. Choose the correct property, apartment, dates and guest count, then review the total price and the selected rate’s terms before confirming. Our website enquiry form requests a quote or information: it does not reserve an apartment or confirm availability. For group, company and service enquiries, we confirm the scope, price, payment and cancellation terms in our offer before a binding booking.
The payment schedule, any deposit, changes, cancellation charges and no-show terms depend on your selected rate or accepted offer. Check the booking service and your confirmation. The general 14-day withdrawal right for online purchases does not apply to accommodation booked for specific dates. If you booked through an intermediary, use its change and cancellation channel. For direct bookings, contact us with your booking reference.
Check-in is from 16:00 and check-out by 12:00 unless otherwise confirmed. LIFE: Kohonkankaantie 95. LIGHT: Kohonkankaantie 92. Arrival instructions are provided before your stay. Meals, separate sauna hire, equipment and late check-out require confirmation of availability and price. Training slots and sports venue bookings are not included unless separately agreed.

The redesigned website uses Tilda’s simplified statistics mode without analytics cookies. Page views may still be counted in this mode. The booking search remembers your chosen dates and guest count in browser session storage so they remain available when you visit an apartment page. This supports your requested booking search and is not used for advertising profiles. Session data clears when you close the tab. Technical services may use storage necessary for operation and security.
Google Maps opens when you select a map link. Cloudbeds opens when you continue to the booking service. These services have their own cookie and privacy practices. You can clear stored data through your browser settings; blocking necessary storage may affect forms or the booking service.
